Wilbert Lee Morris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbert Lee Morris (Kelford, North Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Peele Morris and John W. Morris; his wife Betty Jean Jernigan Morris; and his siblings, Glenn, Grady, William Morris and Jessie M. Shepard.
He is survived by: his children, Wilbert Morris, II (Becky), Gina M. Ange (Mike) and Jerri M. Peede (Arlen); his sister Linda M. Paul (Bill); his grandchildren, Brandon Ange, Kristy Thompson (Lewis), Jennifer Claxton (Josh), Cameron Ange (Tiffany), Jeremy Peede and Dani Ange (Jeremy Mills); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Claxton, Harry, Skylar Thompson and Carly Roberson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Chapel (116 Short St, Rich Square, NC 27869). The military honors was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Morris Family Cemetery (134 Horace Vick Rd, Kelford, NC 27847).
