He was predeceased by: his stepmother Florene Moore; and his brother Carlos Moore (Joyce). He is survived by: his children, Mack A. Moore (Amy) of Winston-Salem, Melissa M. Knotts (Scott) of Kannapolis and Richard L. Moore (Matt) of Hampton Falls, NH.; his grandchildren, Samuel Moore, Maggie M. Setzer (Trevor), David Davis, Phoenix Davis, Ashton Knotts, Tommy Knotts, Zechariah Moore and Noah LaMoore; his great grandchildren, James Setzer, Amelia Setzer and Poppa; his siblings, Susan Compton (Dennis), Jann Kirkman (Johnney) and Marc Moore; his friends, Rick Felts, Kathy Gillon and Helen Stirewalt Correll; and also, Marc (Kim) and Brae.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Zackie Moore Golf Scholarship for an A.L. Brown High School student who has a passion for golf and a heart of generosity and unselfishness for others as Zackie did.
