He was predeceased by: his parents, Grey Obeder Howard and Sarah Pauline Van Pelt. He is survived by: his son Russell Howard of Kannapolis; his stepson Scott Hart (Kristen) of Salisbury; his daughter Donna Greaves; his significant other Jeannie Childers; and his grandchildren, Dalton Hart and Tyler Youngblood.
