With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Thompson Sr. of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardie Thompson and Annie Bell Tillman Thompson; his daughter Valerie Cauthen; and his siblings, Robert Floyd Thompson and Georgia Arbitman.
He is survived by: his sons, Quintin Thompson (Valerie) of Randolph, NJ and Willie Thompson, Jr. (Donica) of Upper Marlboro, MD; his brother Wardie Leon Thompson (Marilyn) of Charlotte, NC; and his close friend Thelma Lipe of Landis, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
