She was predeceased by: her father Freeman Gladden; her husband Samuel Adams; and her brothers, Thomas Gladden and Eugene Gladden. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Adams of Charlotte and Curtis Adams (Louise) of Garner; her siblings, Frank Gladden (Vickie) of Silver Springs, MD, Melvin Gladden (Hazel) of Sumter, SC and Carolyn Gladden Waddell (Jimmie) of Spartanburg, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Gladden and Norma Gladden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
