It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William George Suggs of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde "Chick" Suggs and Callie Cornelius Suggs; and his daughter Georgeann Suggs Kerley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Little Suggs; his children, Chic Suggs (Robin) and Doug Suggs; his grandchildren, Jake Sherrill (Okeya), Heather Suggs, Jessica Suggs, Alex Suggs and Jon Suggs; and his great grandchildren, Kairen, Jianna, Kheni and Kaleel. He is also survived by His family will receive friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 115, PO Box 123, Kannapolis, NC 28082 in honor of the baseball team.
