He is survived by: his parent Hattie Louise Potter Moffitt; his children, Linda Boyd, Ricky Moffitt (Sharon), Dennis Moffitt (Debbie) and Kevin "Pud" Moffitt (Robin); and his grandchildren, Anita "Cissy" Schrad (Devin) of Mooresville, Amy Campbell (Chris) of Concord, Angie Kepley (Steven) of Rockwell, Jennifer Burgin (Billy) of Iron Station, Joshua Moffitt (Katie) of Cramerton, Kevin "Scottie" Moffitt (Deana) of Kannapolis, Alan Moffitt (Desiree) of China Grove, Amanda Westfall (James) of Concord and Cyndi Boyd.
