With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Mac Fite (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nallie Fite and Nettie Wright Fite; his wife Nancy Reba Lovelace Fite; and his brothers, Henry Fite, George Fite and Hal Fite.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Cline (Robert), Carolyn Harwood (Johnny) and Michael Fite (Terri); his grandchildren, Tracey Shanks (Mark), Mark Harwood, Dustin Fite and Dillon Fite; his great grandchildren, Carter Shanks and Emmett Fite; his brother Jim Fite; his siblings-in-law, George Lovelace, Virginia Riddle and Edna Cooper; and his close friend Jewell Robinette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookdale Baptist Church, 2511 S Ridge Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
