He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith Hammond; his children, Shelly Faith Troutman (Tommy) of Gulfport, MS and John Lester Hammond of Kannapolis; his sister Abbie H. Williams of Montgomery, TX; his grandson Joshua A. Troutman (Tessa) of Gulfport, MS; and his great grandchild Lena Marie Troutman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
