He is survived by: his parent Hazel Thompson Gladden; his wife Matina Harmon Gladden; and his sons, Steve Gladden (Carol) of Mt, Mike Gladden (Becky) of Mooresville and Tim Gladden of Kannapolis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
