With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Maurice Whitaker in Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Fletcher and Pauline Sisk Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hardin Whitaker; his daughter Dawn Thomas (Scott); and his grandsons, Daniel Jason Whitaker and Jamie Whitaker. He is also survived by in-laws, the Hardin family; and many nieces, nephews.
