She was predeceased by: her parents, George Armond Wiles and Peggy Jean Miller Wiles; and her husband Vernon C. Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Vernon Chad Gibson and Meagan Gibson Young (Kevin); her sisters, Georgie Moore (Trent), Kim Linker (Terry) and Sherri Argabright (Jay); her aunt Teeny Holmes; her cousins, Lisa and Gretchen; her caregivers, Sidney, Susan, Lavonda of A's Jana "Linda" and Kori; and also Tim Shue.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calendar Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
