She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Leroy and Wilma Belle Ketchie Blackwelder; and her husband Casey Linn Karriker. She is survived by: her children, Casey Wayne Karriker (Janet) of China Grove, Keith Karriker (Diane) of Landis and Yvonne Shepherd (Terry) of Currituck, NC; and her grandchildren, Linn Karriker, Jennifer Candler, Jillian Johnson and Benjamin Shepherd. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and three nieces.
