He was predeceased by: his parents, C. R. Edwards and Callie Spencer Edwards of Kannapolis; his sister Carol Marion; and his nephew Ricky Fox. He is survived by: his wife Judy Harris Edwards of Kannapolis; his children, Sentrie Buie (Darren) of Shallotte, Valerie Edwards Pethel of Kannapolis and Vic Edwards; his grandchildren, Hayley Thompson (Kyle) of Greenville, SC, Xan Moose and Anthony Moose of Kannapolis; and his daughters, Gwen Honeycutt Wise of Kannapolis, Mikki Measmer Ayers of Huntersville and Arlene Edwards Thompson of Advance.
