He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Hamrick and Mary Bell Hamrick; and his brother James Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Tina L. Hamrick of Kannapolis, NC; and his children, Ulicia Caldwell of Kannapolis, NC, Mary Hamrick of Kannapolis, NC, Porche Hamrick of Kannapolis, NC and Tony Hamrick of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
