He was predeceased by: his father John H. Watson; and his sister Myra E. Watson. He is survived by: his mother Lois Williams Watson of Kannapolis; his daughters, Edwina Russell of Kannapolis and Kiera Russell of Kannapolis; and his siblings, Cynthia W. Hammond (Thomas) of Kannapolis, Glenda Elaine Watson of Kannapolis, Gloria J. Pharr (Kerry) of Richmond, VA, Dr. Kenneth Watson (Patricia) of Charlotte, Johnny Emmanuel Black of Charlotte, John Gregory Watson of Kannapolis and R. Lothel Watson of Kannapolis. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
