He is survived by: his daughter Renee Maxwell of Charlotte; his siblings, Elizabeth Maxwell of New York, Nannie Mae Porter of Philadelphia, Nancy Dry of Pennsylvania, Madeline McCorkle of Kannapolis, N. C. and Glenn Maxwell of Kannapolis; his niece Rachelle Walker of Landis, N. C.; and his close friend Ida Dumas of Albemarle. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
