It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Chastain (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on April 30, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Jake M.; her husband James Chastain; her son Ray Lowe; and her siblings, Naomi W. Leach, Mary W. Simpson, James Wells and Jake Wells (Junior).
She is survived by: her parent Jenny Austin Wells; her stepdaughter Kathy Allen (Herman); her grandson Todd Lowe; and her sisters, Margie Gibbs and Virginia Hinson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
