He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Snipes and Jeanette Snipes; and his wife Meda Wiser Snipes. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Snipes King of Concord, NC and Clarissa Snipes Fowler of Tega Cay, SC; his grandchildren, Alexandra Byrd, Lindsey King, Andrew King, Lauren Fowler and Caitlyn Fowler; his close friend Elizabeth Spencer of Greensboro, NC.; and his pet Mattie.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Memorial Park.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to your local animal rescue services to honor his love for animals.
