She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Milton Key Sr. and Grace Elizabeth Higgins Key; her husband Edward "Eddie" Woodrow Rhodes; her son Gary Wayne Rhodes; and her siblings, Claude Milton Key and Frances Goforth (Snook).
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Rhodes Allman (Kilburn) and Lori Bradshaw (Tommy); her grandchildren, Kilburn Allman Jr. (Kristen), Kody Allman (Katie), Nikki Brigman, Travis Rhodes and Justin Bradshaw (Stephanie); her sister Becky Patterson; and also Sherry Rhodes. She is also survived by 12 greatgrandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
