She is survived by: her parent Rosemary Godfrey Griffin; her husband Frank Bowers; her daughter Katie Efird (Jeff) of Kannapolis; her sister Joan Hughes of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Jackson and Peyton; her sister Vickie Snyder of Kannapolis; and her pet Marle.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 703 Buick Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28083 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
