Ruth Yates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Yates of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Yates to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Yates; her son Darrell Yates; her brothers, Ray and Bill Blackwelder; and her parents, Lawson Blackwelder and Clara Barringer Blackwelder.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Karriker (James) of Salisbury, Steve Yates (Mary) of Midland and Tim Yates (Susie) of Concord; and her siblings, Thelma Yow, Carolyn Morrison of Concord and Homer Blackwelder of Midland. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
