Smith; her parents, Ethel Octavia Tankersley Higdon and Samuel Gordon Higdon; her children, Willie Curtis Helms, Phyllis Ann Brawley and Donna Ellen Smith; her siblings, Samuel Edward Higdon, William Howard Higdon, Jesse Lee Higdon, Thomas Wayne Higdon, Edith Blanche Strider, Betty Jean Fowler, Linda Sue Sexton and Carol Ann Higdon; and her grandson William Christopher Helms.
She is survived by: her son Paul Smith; and her grandchildren, Tim, Melissa and Dezarae Smith of Ohio.
