It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Patterson of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Allen Patterson Jr. and Ora Lee Simpson Davis; his siblings, Freddie Patterson (Vickie), Chris Shaver (Dennis) and Kelly Chandler (Scott); his stepsiblings, Donald Davis Jr. (Lori) and Ellen Godsey; his nephews, Robert Shaver (Reese), Reid Shaver (Allison), Jonathan Hodge, Max Chandler II (Savannah) and David Davis; his niece Kate Davis; his great-niece Blakely Shaver; his great-nephew Theo Shaver; and his pet Sunshine.
