He is survived by: his children, Susan Smith (Mark) of Richfield, Laura Sloop (Don) of Charlotte, Cheryl Mills of Charlotte and Michael Mills of Winterville; his brother R. Neil Mills (Danna) of Concord; and his former wife Catherine Mills. He is also survived by two granddaughters; and three great grandchildren.
