With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Marie Whitley of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rose Marie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rose Marie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W Lyles and Lucille Love Lyles; her husband Billy Lamar Whitley; and her son Billy Lamar Whitley. She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya W Burril of Concord, NC and Angela Broadway. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park.
