She was predeceased by: her parents, Cuff Allen Kirkland and Pearl McClurkin Kirkland; her husband George William "Bill" Saddler; and her siblings, Thomas Allen Kirkland, Sr., Melvin Jerome Kirkland and Mary Davis.
She is survived by: her son William Christopher "Chris" Saddler of Kannapolis; her great grandchildren, Esscence "Essie" Dixon, Sherrod Mock and Amarii Thompson; her siblings, Robert Lee Kirkland (Agnes) of Upper Marlboro, MD, John Louis Kirkland of Kannapolis, Lizzie Mae Vaughn of Chicago, IL and Elizabeth Kathleen Elliott (James) of Baltimore, MD; her aunts, Azilee McKnight of Charlotte and Jessie Mae McClurkin of Charlotte; her brother-in-law Paul Curry; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Torian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
