He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Porter Blackmon; his children, Robert Blackmon (Anjie), Jimmy Blackmon (Connie), Lonnie Blackmon (Anjali), Joshua Blackmon, Elizabeth Cowles, Phyllis Cooper (Jeff) and Sybil Kirks (Kevin); and his siblings, Buren Blackmon (Betty Jo) and Linda McKinney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
