She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde F. Sheets and Etta Dancy Sheets; her husband H. W. Sheets, Sr.; her siblings, Rex Sheets, Ralph Sheets, Wade Sheets, Dell Sheets and Raye Long; her grandsons, Darren Brigman, Jeffrey Brigman and Brad Walters; and her son-in-law Erskine Ratchford.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Etta Brigman (Jerry) of Mooresville, Karen Ratchford of Landrum, SC, H. W. Sheets, Jr. (Connie) of Mooresville, Steve Sheets (Pam) of Mooresville and Gary Sheets (Susan) of Mooresville; and her sister Gaye Powell of Taylorsville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
