He is survived by: his wife Alice Smith Stamey of Kannapolis; his children, Ron Stamey of Kannapolis, Richie Stamey (Niki) of Salisbury, Ryan Stamey of Charlotte, Jason Stamey (Ryan Powers) of Los Angeles, Ashlyn Stamey of Concord and Anthony Stamey of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Noah Stamey, Logan Stamey, Lauren and Megan Kesler; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Pope and Aaliyah Kesler.
