He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin D. Carpenter and Sylvia L. Flowers Carpenter; his sister Katie Hager; and his fiancée Vicky Fisher. He is survived by: his son Michael Allen Carpenter of Kannapolis, NC; his siblings, Sheila Carpenter of Concord, NC, Frank Carpenter, Jr. of Kannapolis, NC, Davey Carpenter of Milton, WV and Delsie Craig; his niece Amber Hager Eller; and his brother-in-law Mike Hager.
