It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Beam Sr. (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Beam and Gracie Dancy; and his former wife Mary Donahue Beam. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn P. Beam; his children, Richard "Rick" A. Beam Jr., Larry W. Beam, Bettina Beam and Tambra Brown; and his siblings, Mary Jane Royal and William George Beam Jr.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
