He is survived by: his wife Benita Torrence McDonald; his children, Diana Ritchie of China Grove and Richard Andrews, Jr. (Marsha) of Gulf Shores, AL; his stepchildren, Wendy Roop of Kannapolis and Mickey Roop of Concord; his granddaughter Laine Andrews; his stepgrandchildren, Cheyenne, Gary, Trenton and Sierra; and his great grandchild Kaitlyn Andrews.
