He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Martin Hatley and Beedie Mae Austin Hatley; his wife Marion Davis Hatley; and his son Richard Hatley Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Seamon (Mark) of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Ashley Corn (Nick), Savannah Seamon and Alexandra Seamon; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Lydia and Caiden.
