He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Haney and Evie Haney of Gibson, N. C.; and his brother Roy Earl Haney. He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanette H. Padgett (Freddie) of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Julia H. Ferrell (Kevin) of Lexington, S. C.; his grandchildren, Kelly, Justin Padgett, Mackenzie and Cameron Ferrell; his siblings, Kenneth G. Haney (Angie) of Laurinburg, N. C. and Doris H. Buchanan of Kannapolis, N. C.; and his close friends, Jerry Jones, Gary James, Mark Bush, Chuck Wyatt and Charles F. "Pinky" Odom.
