She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jones and Lillian Ledbetter Jones; her husband Watson Odell Sartain, Sr.; her children, Jesse Ray Sartain, Watson Odell Sartain, Jr., Marilyn Sartain Holmon and Michael Lane Sartain; and her grandchildren, Johnny Sartain, Jesse Sartain, Daniel Sartain and Christopher Bowles.
She is survived by: her daughter Lois S. Bowles of Kannapolis; her sister Sylvia J. Bridges (Winfred) of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Sandra Bowles, Phillip Bowles, Teresa Wiseman, Andrea Sword (Kevin), Sherri Boone, Larry Beam, Danny Miller and Angie Russell. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lady's Funeral Home (268 N Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lady's Funeral Home Chapel (268 N Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
