She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Thompson; her daughters, Beverly Lynne Mozely (Mark) of Mooresville, Cindy Poole (Tim) of Lexington and Pamela Mishak (Wayne) of Salisbury; and her siblings, Mildred Lawing (Ronald) of Kannapolis, Joyce Bowden (Sydney) of Mooresville, Betty Morgan of Rockwell, Carolyn Bentley (Jim) of Mooresville and Bud Upright (Peggy) of Kannapolis. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
