She is survived by: her children, Tessa Phipps (Benny) of Concord, Waynette G. York (Curtis) of Julian and Tim Gentle (Tammy) of Mt. Pleasant; her siblings, Kenneth A. Clayton (Martha) of Kannapolis and Sarah Melton of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Adam Troutman (Kassie), Jami York, Hollie York, Justin Wyatt (Alisha), Brittany Rogers (Adam) and Amanda Williams; and her friend Lisa Prichard. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
