She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Coon" Freeze and Carrie Craven Freeze; her husband Bernard R. Beaver; her son Leonard Ray Beaver; and her siblings, Julie Freeze, Mary Wallace, Helen Keever, Paul Freeze and Bill Freeze.

She is survived by: her children, Allen D. Beaver (Diane) of Kannapolis and Kaye B. Kluttz of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Erica, Brian, Susan, David, Elizabeth, Lindsay and Meredith. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
