He is survived by: his wife Annie Ruth Deal; his daughters, Tona Hinson of Kannapolis, Trina King of Rock Hill and Terrie Overcash of Kannapolis; his stepdaughters, Anita Dixon and Angela Franklin; and his siblings-in-law, Christy Jones and Wayne Todd. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, also several great-great grandchildren.
