He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Barnhardt and Mary Goodman Barnhardt. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Barnhardt of Kannapolis; his son Jeff Barnhardt of Kannapolis; his siblings, Ron Barnhardt (Vickie), Gary Barnhardt (Tracy), Joyce Nagy (George) of Michigan and Linda Webber (Marty) of Michigan; and his cousins, Wayne Goodman (Debbie) of Harrisburg and Marilyn Upright of Concord. He is also survived by other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Kannapolis Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
