He was predeceased by: his father Charles King. He is survived by: his mother Neva Sledge; his children, Olajuwon Sledge, Jr., Olajahnae Sledge and Jonas Grant; his siblings, Amr Sledge, Sr. (LaTonya) and Ameenah Sledge; his grandparents, Ollie B. Gay and Mary Walker (Harrison); his stepgrandmother Thelma Sledge; and his nephews, Ahsan Neilan and Amr Sledge, Jr.. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins.
