He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shaver and Nora Garver Shaver; his wife Lillie Mae Thompson Shaver; his brothers, James "Jimmy" Shaver and Larry Dean Shaver; his mother-in-law Maggie Leatherwood Stephenson; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Hoggard and Herman Duckett (Roberta Duckett).
He is survived by: his sister Linda "Lulu" Wingler (Ernest); his siblings-in-law, Terressa Trembley Shaver, Carolyn Shaver, Lois Hoggard and Tommy Thompson (Shirley); and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Martin (Bill), Paula Neely, Lisa Hoggard, Eric Shaver (Angie), Derick Wingler (Leslie), Travis Shaver and David Shaver (Ruth).
