She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert Safrit; her children, Oscar Joe Pearson, Jr. (Vickie) of Glenville, NC., David Pearson (Crystal) of Kannapolis, Billy Ray Pearson (Gabrielle) and Melissa Nolte of Kannapolis; and her siblings, Doris Simms of Rutherforton and Harry Brown Mullis (Barbara Je) of South Carolina. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
