She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Brown Mullis and Vertie Murph Mullis. She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert Safrit; her children, Oscar Joe Pearson, Jr. (Vickie) of Glenville, David Pearson (Crystal) of Kannapolis, Billy Ray Pearson (Gabrielle) and Melissa Nolte of Kannapolis; and her siblings, Doris Simms of Rutherforton and Harry Brown Mullis (Barbara Je) of South Carolina. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whitleys Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).
