He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Fred" and Claudia Cox Reece; his wife Doris Elizabeth Fisher Reece; and his sister Nancy Champion. He is survived by: his children, Michael Stanley "Stan" Reece (Terry) of Kannapolis and Gina Reece Jones (Mikel) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Kathryn Reece Simmons (Evan), Hillary Reece, Jackson R. Jones and Laura Abernethy; and his great grandchild Truett M. Simmons.
