She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleatus Knox, Sr. and Bertha Brown Knox; her children, Vernon Knox and Elveta "Tina" Knox; and her siblings, Pauline Hill, Berthina Russell, Aggie Miller, Ruth Grier, Annie Grier, Clarence Knox, Alonzo Knox and Frank Knox.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Caldwell (Samuel) of Kannapolis, NC, Terry Clodfelter of Salisbury, NC, Bernetta Barryman (Ricky) of Mooresville, NC and Michael Knox of Kannapolis, NC; her brother Cleatus Knox of Cleveland, NC; and her brother-in-law Willie Miller of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethpage United Presbyterian Church (8701 Mooresville Rd, Concord, NC 28027). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
