He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Pharr Young. He is survived by: his children, Anntoniette Y. Baldwin (Carey) of Summerfield, NC, Suzette Moore (Randolph) of Severn, MD, Moses Randy Young (Audrey) of Greensboro, NC and Douglas Allen Young, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA.

Those left to cherish fond memories include two daughters, Anntoniette Y. Baldwin (Carey) of Summerfield, NC and T. Suzette Moore (Randolph) of Severn, MD; two sons, Moses Randy Young (Audrey) of Greensboro, NC and Douglas Allen Young, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; one god-daughter, Iris McIlwain of Kannapolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends favorite_border Donations Pledges.
