He is survived by: his wife Robin Taylor; his children, Melvin Godfrey of Charlotte, NC, Shamieka Still of Salisbury, NC, Sineka Miller of Salisbury, NC, April Steele of Richmond, VA, Michael Rivers (Lanita) of Kannapolis, NC, Melissa Rivers of Concord, NC and Melvin Butler of Kannapolis, NC; and his siblings, Lamuel Holmes of Greensboro, NC, Calvin Taylor of San Diego, CA, Rick Taylor of Salisbury, NC, James Taylor of Salisbury, NC, Deborah Taylor of Salisbury, NC and Bernetta Taylor of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
