With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Anthony Morton of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Jr. Morton and Katherine Furr Morton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Renee Scercy Morton; his children, Mike Morton, Jr. (Alana) and Jennifer McGuire (Scott); his grandchildren, Trey, Jesse, Katie, Laney, Molly Morton, Madison, Makenzie, Grayson and Easton McGuire; his sister Becky Morton; and his half-brother Jesse C. Morton, III.
