It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Melton of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Perry and Diane Lefler Melton; and his brother Danny Melton. He is survived by: his fiancée Cathy M. Zack; his daughter Kayla Melton; his stepdaughters, Heather Zack and Alicia Honeycutt (Brett); his brothers, Terry Melton (Tanya) and Scott Melton; his stepgranddaughter Adaline Honeycutt; and his nephews, Danny Melton and Troy Phillips.
